Laugh & learn. Twist & shout

ORLANDO, Fla. – July 25, 2011 – The 2011 Florida Realtors Convention & Trade Expo has a world-class speaker for its luncheon and a Beatles Bash in the evening!

Some say the best teachers are the ones who make learning fun. While it’s hard to argue that innovation is key to strengthening your business, it’s pretty much impossible not to be inspired when a teacher uses humor and phenomenal guitar artistry to make his points. Mike Rayburn, who will deliver the keynote address at the awards luncheon on Aug. 25, uplifts and inspires audiences.

Rayburn – often called “the world’s funniest guitar virtuoso” – has been featured in USA Today, Newsweek, Billboard, Gig, Programming, American Entertainment and Successful Meetings magazines. One of a handful of people in the world to become a regular headliner at Carnegie Hall, he does more than 100 presentations every year.

You have the opportunity to see him next month. Make plans now to attend the 2011 Florida Realtors Convention & Trade Expo. He’ll do your brain and your business a world of good.

Beatles Bash

“What would you do, if I sang out of tune, would you stand up and walk out on me? Lend me your ear and I’ll sing you a song, I will try not to sing out of key. Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends.”

You know all the words. The melodies live in your head and heart. Let’s face it. It’s some of the most enduring and best-loved music in history. Come to the convention Aug. 25 at 8:30pm for the Beatles Bash featuring “1964 … The Tribute.”

Most people never got a chance to see the Fab Four in concert. This is without question the next best thing. Sing and dance to all the early Beatles hits – Hard Day’s Night, Act Naturally, All my Loving, And I Love Her, Can’t Buy Me Love, Day Tripper, Do You Want To Know A Secret, Drive My Car, Eight Days A Week, From Me To You, Got To Get You Into My Life, Help!, I Feel Fine, I Saw Her Standing There, I Want To Hold Your Hand, In My Life, Love Me Do, Paperback Writer, Please Please Me, She Loves You, Taxman, Ticket To Ride, Twist and Shout, We Can Work It Out and Yellow Submarine.

A band that “Rolling Stone Magazine” calls “the best Beatles tribute on earth” performs the music. In addition, don a mood ring and have fun with a 60’s costume contest, air guitar competition and twist contest. It’s all happens on Thursday night at the convention.

You’ve got a (free) ticket to ride for the Beatles concert when you register for the full convention. Just a day tripper? Tickets for “1964 … The Tribute” will be on sale at registration for $30.00.
