ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 25, 2011 – Mark Palace, founder/CEO of Palace Properties International, Inc., located in Satellite Beach, FL, attended Florida Realtors® 95th annual Convention & Trade Expo held Aug. 24-28, 2011, at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla.

Each year, the Convention & Trade Expo brings Realtors® from around the state together to discuss and vote on key issues that shape their profession and state association, hi addition to committee meetings, members attend educational seminars on topics as varied as handling short sales, social media trends, personal branding and home pricing strategies. More than 54 education sessions were available for participants to attend this year.

Some of the top industry speakers featured during the 2011 Florida Realtors® convention included: Brian Copeland, familiar to many from “Flip That House” on The Learning Channel; Chandra Hall, a certified instructor on short sales and foreclosures; and Doug Devitre, a nationally recognized consultant on technology and social media solutions.

For the first time this year, convention-goers enjoyed a night of spectacular entertainment, reliving the excitement that was John, Paul, George and Ringo during the Beatles Bash concert held Aug. 25. The audience twisted and shouted the night away to “1964 … The Tribute,” called “the best Beatles tribute on Earth” by Rolling Stone magazine.

In another highlight, world-class guitarist, stand-up comedian and personal development expert Mike Rayburn inspired attendees with his “What If… and Why Not?” address at the Keynote Awards Luncheon. Real estate professionals throughout the state took advantage of this year’s Trade Expo, which had more than 125 companies showcasing the latest products, technology and other business tools.

Florida Realtors®, formerly known as the Florida Association of Realtors®, serves as the voice for real estate in Florida and provides programs, services, ongoing education, research and legislative representation to its 115,000 members in 64 local boards/associations throughout Florida.
